Contact us
Email contact@apes.app for anything: account help, bug reports, questions about a trade, or reporting content or a user. Include the relevant username or transaction reference, but never send a password, sign-in code, private key or recovery phrase.
Report an intimate image shared without consent
If an intimate image of you was shared on Apes without your consent, you or your authorized representative can request removal. You do not need an Apes account. Email contact@apes.app with the subject “Intimate image removal” and include:
- Your physical or electronic signature; a typed name can serve as an electronic signature.
- Enough information to identify and locate the image, such as a post link, username, channel or message reference.
- A brief good-faith statement that the image was published without consent, with facts supporting that statement.
- Contact information for you or your authorized representative so we can respond.
Do not attach the intimate image, an identity document, wallet credentials or a recovery phrase. This process also covers sexually explicit altered or generated images depicting a person. Applicable law can require removal as soon as possible and within 48 hours of a valid notice, including reasonable efforts to remove known identical copies. Material subject to a legal preservation requirement remains restricted; preserving evidence does not mean keeping it visible to users.
For threats, harassment, impersonation or other harmful content, use the selected content’s report control or the same support address. If a child may be at risk, describe the location and concern without emailing the image itself.
Common questions
Where are my funds held? In your own self-custody wallet, provided by Privy. apes never holds your keys or funds. You can export your private key from Wallet → Export private keys and withdraw at any time. Funding and bridge transactions can also pass through the selected provider’s flow. Review your wallet and transaction details in the app. Use Settings → Account recovery for help keeping access to your original account.
A trade failed or looks stuck. Blockchain transactions can take time or fail when networks are congested. A pending transaction is not a confirmed failure; network fees may still apply, and bridge recovery depends on its stage and provider. Check transfer history before submitting again. Email us with your handle, transaction reference and approximate time if you need help.
How do I report a post or block someone? Use the selected post or message’s options, or the “···” menu on a profile. You can also contact support if you cannot reach the content in the app.
How do I delete my account? In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. Or visit apes.app/delete-account. Withdraw your funds or export your private key first. Deletion completes 30 days after your request, and you can cancel until then. Account deletion does not erase public blockchain transactions; see the deletion page for the current process.
